All the functions such as digital picture display, music playback and calendar still work however it also contains a built-in recorder and hidden camera. The DVR camera records full color video at 1280 x 720 resolution at 30fps with a 72 degree field of view. Video is stored on a standard size SD card up to 32GB capacity. Another feature is the unit plugs into an outlet so battery drain causing missed video is not an issue but also contains a 60 minute backup battery in case of power failure.
Video can also be played back right on the device with no need to plug the unit into a computer. Control every function of the hidden camera and picture frame display from the included remote control.
