The camera features a 2.8-12mm MegaPixel varifocal lens and OSD both adjustable from the rear of the camera. The camera's dual sensor provides full color images in daytime and automatically switches to B/W at night to maintain an excellent image with its 40 IR LEDs. With its IP67 enclosure the 2142FV-XIR can operate under a variety of harsh, outdoor environments.
The 2142FV-XIR IR camera uses Sony’s 1/3" CMOS sensor with progressive scan technology. The camera offers great improvement in picture quality and detail thanks to the HD-SDI 1080p format. The 2142FV-XIR features the highest level of resolution available in cctv style cameras and a night vision range of up to 100 ft. It is also equipped both a SDI BNC video out for full 1080p resolution when used with HS-SDI DVRs and a standard BNC for use with conventional DVRs.
