This transmitter/receiver set packs value and performance into a compact metal case housing. The 1.2 GHz wireless technology will transmit crisp clear video and audio signals through the walls and between the rooms in a building. Transmitter has 2 different channels (1280MHz and 1258MHz) but only one channel can be used at the same time in one location. Will not be affected by 2.4 GHz cordless phones, wireless networks or microwave ovens. 5000 feet line of sight requires the use of a high gain directional antenna. With the included antenna expect 1000 to 1600 feet line of sight. Transmitting through walls, trees or other obstacles will reduce range, concrete and metal obstacles reduce performance the most.
