When you do need to find a recorded incident searching can be done by motion events on one or all cameras or by time and date. To save the recorded event for evidence simply insert a thumb drive into the USB port and copy the file. Files can be saved in AVI format, viewable in most any media player or in the proprietary DAT format which will require the use of the included playback viewer. Remote viewing and full DVR access is possible through IE browser or remote viewing and playback and email alerts can also be done using most all smart phones.
