Long Distance Wireless Video Transmission System
Offering 3 watts of power this high grade transmitter with receiver set is capable of over 1/2 mile line of sight range with the included small antennas. Longer ranges can be achieved if needed by using high gain directional antennas. The transmitter is housed in an aluminum case with venting for continuous operation but if used outdoors it will need a weatherproof enclosure.
Transmitter and receiver can be set to 16 different channels allowing multiple sets to be used in one location. The 1.2 GHz frequency helps to avoid interference from other wireless 2.4GHz or 5.8 GHz networks along with cordless phones, microwave ovens and Wi-Fi networks. The 1.2 GHz frequency also.has good penetrating ability and can be used in situations of non line of sight but the transmitting distances will be reduced.
Can be used with most standard analog cameras or other video/audio source such as TV, DVR, or Camcorders; however it is not capable of transmitting HD signals such as 1080p or 720p. Great for situations where running wires is difficult or prohibited. Rated for 24 hour continuous operation.
