This security camera is great for capturing license plate numbers even at a distance. For best results do not exceed 50 feet at night and car should be stationary or moving no more than 5 mph. Features a 1/3" Sony CCD sensor with DSP and high 560 lines resolution. Uses a specialized technology to eliminate much of the headlight glare allowing you to see the plate number day or night.
Employs Dual Glass Technology to separate the lens from the IR array. This eliminates any possible IR reflection and results in an improved nighttime image. This camera also features Super DNR (Digital Noise Reduction) and an automatic Slow Shutter for even greater low light nighttime performance.
Displays vivid color in daytime and automatically switches to B/W at night. LED illumination is adjusted for license plate recognition which requires special settings and is not intended for use as a standard infrared camera.
