The HVR2804 has an economy price but professional level recording. Capable of real time 30 frames per second recording in full D1 (704x480) resolution. Also with the HVR2804 security DVR users can independently adjust each channel for video color, brightness and contrast as well as bit rate and frames per second. Recording can be set on a schedule, alarm or motion detection basis with adjustable sensitivity and masking ability.

Video searching is easily done by time and date or event. The USB port allows video to be saved to an USB flash drive or use the eSATA connection for large hard drive backups. Users can choose to have files backed up in convenient .avi format for playback in most media players or saved in proprietary h.264 format which will require the included remote player software.

You have full remote access for viewing, setup, playback, and backup when using Internet Explorer browser from your remote computer.
