Take full advantage of your 700 line resolution cameras with WD1 960H recording. Until recently security DVRs were only able to record D1 (720x480) resolution which is fine for 550 TVL cameras but with the newer 700 TVL cameras standard DVRs weren't able to record their full image quality. The DVR08HE-960 however is able to record at 960x480 resolution, a 33% gain when recording 700 TVL cameras. It can also record any of your lower resolution cameras so you can still record from any cameras you currently have.

Recording resolution, image adjustments, motion detection and scheduling can all be set on a per channel basis. Full DVR setup, live viewing, playback and backup are always available directly from the DVR and remotely from most computers and laptops, smartphones and tablets may be limited to live viewing and playback.
