Browsing and playback can be done by a number of methods such as immediate camera playback for last 5 minutes, time/date, event/alarm, camera channel, user defined file tags and Smart search. Smart search permits you to specify a location or locations on the display and look for any activity that happened in those particular locations.

Using most any internet browser on a computer or laptop computer provides full remote network control of all DVR features and playback. Mobile devices such as smart phones and tablets can access the DVR using the Guarding Expert app for live viewing and playback with functions such as digital zoom, image quality adjustment, photo capture, control of PTZ camera  and alarm system management.

Exporting or backing up files is easy using standard USB items such as USB flash/thumb drives, USB HDDs and USB writer. Files are saved in MP4 format for convenient playback by popular media players or use the DVR player program that is automatically copied with the files.
