The SDI-8816 comes with 16 HD-SDI video inputs and 16 audio RCA inputs. Video is recorded at the full 1080p resolution on all channels for real time playback. The high definition video is far superior to standard cctv or even the 960H video. Also the true 16:9 aspect image is ideal for HD wide screen monitors and provides a wider field of view to a corresponding cctv cameras. Video backup is quick and easy using an USB thumb drive. Video can be backed up in the familiar AVI format which can be viewed with most any windows media player or as proprietary DAT format which requires the use of the included player software.
